End of year video

Thank you SOOOOO much for coming today and for all of your support this school year. I am so fortunate to have been able to be your child's teacher. I hope you enjoy this video from the program!!                  

Rockstar Tyler!!!

Tyler was our rockstar and we learned so much about him!! He brought his BIG Batman to share with us at school and his favorite book, Corduroy. His mom and dad came for a lunch visit. We also had our kindergarten program…and his dad drove his fire truck…so neat!! His favorite color is black and he loves the book Corduroy. His favorite movie is Harry Potter and he loves football. He loves cheetah’s and his favorite food is a cupcake. His favorite song is 24-Carat. When he grows up he wants to be just like dad…a fireman. If he could go anywhere it would be Hawaii and he is a special kid because his family love him. We think your pretty awesome Tyler!! You ROCK!!!

                         

Happy Mother's Day!!

I hope that you all have a wonderful day celebrating with your kiddos!! They are all such sweet and special kids. Take a minute to relax a little and spend some time with your kids. I know I can't wait to get outside in this beautiful weather. We hope you loved your gifts...the kids worked SO hard on them and were VERY proud of them. Rockstar Simon!!!

Simon was our and we learned a lot about him!! His mom even came to eat lunch with him!! Simon brought his favorite dragon book to share and his favorite toy, handcuffs that he won at a birthday party!! He loves the color blue and his book about dragons. He also loves the movie “Pirates of the Caribbean.” He loves football and his favorite animal is a mountain lion. Simon loves eating hamburgers and French fries. Yummy!! When he grows up he wants to be a police man and if he could go anywhere it would be New York City. He is special because he gets to spend time with his family. We think you ROCK Simon!!!

Rockstar Noah!!

Noah was our rockstar a couple weeks ago and we LOVED getting to know him!! His dad came to eat lunch with him and he brought is favorite monster book to share and his toy tractorJ He loves the color red and the book “Monsters Love Underpants.” His favorite movie is Big Hero 6 and he loves playing football. His favorite animal is a dog and he loves eating macaroni. He loves the song Wagon Wheel and when he grows up he wants to be a firefighter. If he could go anywhere it would be the Water Park of America. He is a special kid because he is funny. We also think you ROCK Noah!!!

Rockstar Naomi!!!

Naomi was our rockstar last week and we LOVED getting to know her!! She shared a favorite stuffed animal and her favorite Pinkalicious book!! Her mom even came to visit for lunch. Her favorite color is pink and she loves any Pinkalicious book. "Frozen" is her favorite movie and she loves dancing and cheering. She loves cats AND dogs. Naomi loves to eat steak and sing the song "Let It Go." When she grows up she wants to be a teacher and she would really love to visit Hawaii. She is a special kid because she has a beautiful voice!! We loved learning about you Naomi and we think you
 ROCK!!!

Rockstar Isaac!!!

Isaac was our rockstar right before spring break and we LOVED getting to know him!! He brought some Pokemon cards to share with us and his favorite alphabet book. His mom even came to visit for lunch. He had a great week!! His favorite colors are red and blue. He loves his Pokemon book and the movie "The Secret Life of Pets." His favorite sport is basketball and he loves bears!! He likes to eat pickle pops (Mrs. Schroeder isn't so sure:)) His favorite song is Uptown Funk You Up. When he grows up he wants to be a real life hockey player. If he could go anywhere it would be Worlds of Fun. He is a special kid because he loves his mom, is nice, caring, and a helper. We think you ROCK Isaac!!!!

Rockstar Macy!!!

Macy was our rockstar before spring break and we LOVED learning all about her!! She brought a cool toy and book to share with us!! Her favorite color is pink and she loves the book Shimmer and Shine. Her favorite movie is Trolls and she loves to jumprope!! Her favorite animals are a dog and a guinea pig. She loves eating macaroni and cheese and loves singing "Let It Go!" When she grows up she wants to be a doctor...awesome!! If she could go anywhere she would choose Disney World. She is special because she is helpful and loved by her mom and dad!! She also had her mom and dad visit for lunch, which was so much fun!! We think you rock Macy!!!

Rockstar Lexi!!

Lexi was our rockstar and we LOVED learning all about her. Her favorite color is blue and she loves the book "Shopkins Christmas." Her favorite movie is Trolls...and many of my friends agreed with her:) She loves wrestling and her favorite animal is a horse. She loves eating candy and her favorite song is "Let It Go." When she grows up she wants to be a dentist and if she could go anywhere it would be the Statue of Liberty. She is a special kid because she likes to help her mom. Lexi even had her grandma join us for lunch and she shared her favorite stuffed animal from Las Vegas. We think you ROCK Lexi!!

Rockstar Lennon!!

Lennon was our rockstar a while back and we loved getting to know him!! His favorite color is ...EVERY color and he loves the book Paw Patrol. His favorite movie is Bolt and he loves to play basketball. Lennon loves cats and he loves eating mac and cheese. His favorite song is the Nightmare Before Christmas and when he grows up he wants to be Batman!! If he could go anywhere it would be to Africa and he is special because he has a big family and can always make them laugh. He even shared his favorite book and toy with us. We think you rock Lennon!!!

100th Day!!

I keep forgetting to post this video!! We had so much fun celebrating 100 days of learning!! We made a picture with 100 squares, 100 day hats, 100 beads on a necklace, and dressed like we were 100!!! We also had some pretty amazing projects to share with our friends!! We are excited for many more days of learning together!!

Rockstar Kenna!!

Sorry I am just getting this posted!! I am only able to post from my home network and I kept forgetting!!

Kenna was our rockstar a couple weeks ago (vacation is getting me even further behind!) We had so much fun reading her cool Trolls book and looking at her Moana toy (my new favorite movie). Her mom also came to eat lunch with her (it was also mom’s birthday!!) Her favorite color is green and she loves the book Trolls, Get Back Up Again. Her favorite movies are Trolls and Moana and she LOVES to dance!! Her favorite animal is a cat…and a kitten. She loves eating candy and the song Hair Up from Trolls. When she grows up she wants to be a cheerleader or a teacher. If she could go anywhere it would be back to Disneyworld. She is a special kid because she has really awesome grandmas!! We think you ROCK Kenna!!!!!

Rockstar Kayden!!!

Kayden was our rockstar last week and we loved getting to know him!! He brought a hockey stick and puck to share and even gave everyone his hockey picture!! We LOVED it!!! He also brought his favorite book, “There Was an Old Mummy Who Swallowed a Spider. His dad came for lunch…which Kayden loved!!! He also shared some great pictures. I have to say I LOVED the Ghostbusters costumes…so cute!!! His favorite color is blue and he loves the movie “Ghosbusters!” He loves playing hockey and his favorite animal is a giraffe. Kayden loves eating Velveeta Shells Macaroni & Cheese. He loves the song “Ghost Town” by Adam Lambert and when he grows up he wants to be a team member of the Boston Bruins. He would love to go to Hawaii and he is a special kid because he nice to others, smart, funny, good at hockey, and because he loves his daddy. We think you rock Kayden!!!

Rockstar E!!!

Enoch was our rockstar and we loved learning all about him!! He brought in a toy dragon and his favorite book to share about the zoo!! We LOVED it!!! His favorite colors are green and white, and he loves the book "Put Me in The Zoo." His favorite movie is the Cat in the Hat and he loves playing golf. He has TWO favorite animals. A cat and a dog. He loves eating broccoli (this is the first food favorite I have ever had:)) He loves the song Watch Me and when he grows up he wants to be a SWAT team member. If he could go anywhere it would be Lost In Fun and he is a special kid because he loves cats and dogs. We think you rock E!!!!        

MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. DAY!!!!

Hello everyone!!

I hope you had a great weekend. On Friday we took a lot of time to discuss Dr. King and what he did for our country. We each thought of one thing we dreamed of for our country, made a colorful world with our hands, and made a freedom bell. I told the kids to remember why they weren't in school tomorrow and to take the time to watch the video we made!! Before that...I want to leave you with a poem that you will hear the kids reciting...

Wouldn't It be terrible? Wouldn't it be sad. 

If just one single color, was the color that we had?

If everything was purple, or red, or blue, or green?

If yellow, pink, or orange, was all that could be seen?

Rockstar Ellie

Ellie was our rockstar before break...we got so busy with our program that I forgot to post this:) We had so much fun learning all about Ellie and she even had her mom and brother visit for lunch..so cool!! She brought her favorite animal book and her favorite stuffed animal. Her favorite color is yellow and she loves the book "Jungle Animals". She loves the Trolls movie and gymnastics!!! Her favorite animal is a cat..a tabby cat to be specific:) She loves eating pizza and her favorite song is New York by Taylor Swift. When she grows up she wants to be a teacher (yay!!!). If she could go anywhere she'd choose Arizona (she was born there:)) She is special because she is a good friend and likes cats. We think you rock Ellie!! Enjoy our video!!!
