We had two awesome UNL practicum students this semester and we had to say good-bye to them today:( All of the kiddos have had such a great time with them and they will be greatly missed. They even brought some magic play dough for all of the friends! Thanks so much ladies..good luck with all you do!!

We celebrated Jeremiah's birthday today and we had so much fun!! We had a birthday elf come and visit us and we had fun finding him!! We also made a sign describing Jeremiah...and we thought of some super great words!! We hope you had a GREAT birthday!!

We had TWO parent readers on Friday and we had so much fun!! We enjoyed listening to Caroline's mom read "Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus!" Caroline was our rockstar last week so her mom came in to read us a book. Thanks so much!!

Rockstar Caroline!!

Caroline was our rockstar this week and we had a BLAST!! Even though she was sick one day, we still had fun!! Her favorite toy is a stuffed puppy and we loved looking at it.  Caroline had her mom come read us her favorite book and she even stayed for lunch! Caroline couldn't pick a favorite color...she loves the rainbow!! Her favorite book is JINGLE and her favorite movie is "Rudolph"...she is in the holiday spirit!! Her favorite sport is track and she loves sharks, wolves, and stingrays!! Her favorite food is cupcakes..YUM!! The song she loves is Rudolph and when she grows up she wants to be a teacher!! If she could go anywhere it would be the North Pole and the California. She is a special kid because she is cool and nice!!

Rock Star Citlali!!

Citlali was our rock star last week and we had so much fun getting to know all about her!! Her favorite color is pink and she loves Dora the Explorer!! The show she loves watching is Team Umizoomi. Her favorite sport is volleyball and her favorite animal is a seahorse. She loves eating grapes...green grapes are her favorite!! We sang her favorite song together, "Let It Go!!" We ALL love the song!! She would love to be a ballerina when she grows up and would LOVE going to Disney World!! She is a special kid because she is so smart!! You Rock Citlali!!

I hope you are all having a wonderful day together....even with a winter storm warning!!

I want to take a chance and tell you how thankful I am for all of you. I am thankful for getting the chance to come to school with my 21 wonderful kindergarten kiddos!! They each have unique personalities that are able to bring a smile to my face every day... no matter what mood I am in. They are learning so much and it is hard to believe how far they've come since kindergarten started.

I am thankful for all the help you provide at school. I appreciate all your participation in school events and for helping your kindergarten kiddo with all of the fun homework at home. You are all so great and I thank you for that!!

We spent the last couple days of school discussing the things we were thankful for and I can tell you that the most popular 'thing' was family. They love their families and the time they spend with them.

I am so grateful to be healthy this holiday season and able to spend my time with all of my family. Again, stay safe today and THANK YOU for letting me come to school with each of your children and do the job I LOVE so much!! Enjoy the video we made!!!

Happy Veteran's Day

On Wednesday we celebrated a VERY important day!! We celebrated Veteran's Day!! We discussed sacrifices soldiers make for us and how they risk their lives and spend time away from their families to keep us safe at home. We sang our song a lot and made hand & feet turkey cards to say thanks to veteran's. We also brought in Halloween candy to share with veteran's. We really are so thankful for all the veteran's out there!! Thanks so much!! Enjoy our video!!

Rock Star Brian!!

Brian was our rock star this week and it went super fast....especially since he was sick for 2 days!! We still managed to have a ton of fun and learn a lot about Brian. We REALLY loved his toy car that acts like a scorpion and his space book from his nana and papa!! Thanks for being such a rock star Brian!! His favorite color is green and he loves the Hubble Space Book! He loves watching "The Jungle Book" and his favorite sport is soccer. The animal he loves is a bat (I am not personally a fan:)) His favorite song is the bohemian rhapsody and when he grows up he wants to be a oceanographer. If he could go anywhere it would be the desert...although he also mention Hawaii!! He says he is special because he really smart and we would all agree!! Enjoy your video Brian!!

Rockstar Ben!!

Ben was our rockstar this week and we have enjoyed getting to know him!! Ben’s favorite color is red and his favorite book is “Oliver”. The movie he LOVES watching is Star Wars and he loves baseball!! His favorite animal is a lion and he loves to eat spaghetti. He loves singing the song “Lime in the Coconut.” When he grows up he wants to be a policeman. If he could go anywhere it would be Hawaii. He is a special kid because he rides his bike a lot!! We loved seeing Ben’s motorcycle and hearing his story!! You Rock Ben!!

Rockstar Alinah!!

Alinah was our rockstar this week and we loved getting to know her!!! Her favorite color is blue and she loves her Lion King book!! The movie she likes best is Spongebob and her favorite sport is basketball! Her favorite animal is a elephant and the song she loves sining is “Let It Go!” We all LOVE that song!! When she grows up she wants to be a vet and if she could go anywhere it would be Disneyworld!! She is a super special kid because she has a big imagination. Rock Star Adam!!

Adam was our rockstar of the week!! It was our first student rock star and we LOVED it!! Adam loves showing us his dinosaur robot, his tooth book, and all of his pictures. His favorite colors are red and green! He loves the "Tooth Book" and his favorite movie is Astro Boy! He loves basketball and his favorite animal is a tiger. He loves to eat cheese pizza...YUMMY!! He loves singing Head & Shoulders and wants to be a police officer when he grows up! If he could go anywhere it would be to Florida...to Disney World of course!! He is special because god loves him!! Happy Birthday Lainey & Jillian!!

On Friday Lainey and Jillian will celebrate their 6th birthday! Since they are lucky girls and have a day off from school we had to celebrate today! We had DOUBLE the fun!! The elf brought some new chair covers and Twinkle even brought a friends so we had TWO elves!! We made a Johnny Appleseed hat for the new elf because he didn't have a birthday hat:) The girls even brought glow stick bracelets and erasers!! We hope you girls having a great Peppa Party!!
