Rockstar Ella!!!

Ella was our rockstar last
 week and we LOVED getting to know her!! She brought her leopard, Freckles to share with us and her favorite Clifford book!! Her favorite color is pink and she loves any books about princesses. Her favorite movie is the Peanuts Movie and she loves playing soccer. Her favorite animal is a kitten and she loves eating mac and cheese. Ella loves listening to Christmas music. When she grows up she wants to be a doctor and if she could go anywhere it would be Disneyworld!!!! She is special because she takes care of people and wants to become a doctor so she can help others. You rock Ella!!!!!

                          

Rockstar Charlotte

Charlotte was our rockstar a couple weeks ago…I got behind!! So sorry!!! She brought a toy giraffe and her favorite Peppa Pig book. We loved learning all about Charlotte and we are SO thankful for her:) She loves the color purple and her favorite movie is Star Wars ( also a favorite at my houseJ) She likes playing soccer and she loves dogs!!! Her favorite thing to eat is mac and cheese and her favorite song is Lost Boy. When she grows up she wants to be a teacher and if she could go anywhere it would be Florida!! She is special because she loves all animals, even tigers and crocodiles :) We think you rock Charlotte!!!!

Thankful!!

I am SO thankful for each of your wonderful kiddos and you!! I am truly blessed to come to a job that I love every day!! Your kids teach me so much and have a big love for learning:) I can't thank you enough for letting me be a part of their lives. I hope you have a day filled with food and family....and maybe some shopping (mine will be online:))

Rockstar Carter!!

Carter was our rockstar last week and we LOVED getting to know him!! His mom came to school for lunch and he shared a toy car and his favorite book “Chicka Chicka Boom Boom!!” His favorite color is red and he loves the movie “The Secret Life of Pets.” He loves track and basketball and his favorite animal is a puppy. Carter LOVES chocolate and the Kidz Bop song “Whip.” When he grows up he wants to be a police officer and if he could go anywhere it would be the Children’s Museum. He is special because he has a big heart and he loves is friends and family sooooo much!! We think you rock Carter!!!

Rockstar Brance!!!

Brance was our rockstar last week and we LOVED getting to know him. We had such a FUN and CRAZY week!!! His favorite color is orange and he loves “First Big Book of Space.” His favorite movie is Big Hero 6 and he loves playing t-ball. Brance LOVES sharks SOOOO much and he enjoys eating macaroni!! His favorite song is Immortals and when he grows up he wants to be an astronaut. If he could go anywhere it would be Mars and he is special because he is a big brother!! We got to see his toy shark and look through his space book. We read all about Jupiter. He also had his mom visit for lunch!! You ROCK Brance!!

                          

Rockstar Bradley!!!

Bradley was our first rockstar this year!! We LOVED getting to know him:)  His favorite color is gold and he loves The Jungle Book. He loves the Pokemon movie and his favorite sport is Husker football. He loves cats and his favorite food is broccoli. He loves all the songs by "Rebelution." When he grows up he wants to be a soldier...so cool!! If he could anywhere he would go to Washington D.C.. He is SO special because he wants to be a soldier. Bradley even had his mom and brother come for lunch. He shared his favorite book and his toy football!! You Rock Bradley!!

Happy Grandparent's Day!!

We want to wish all of our kindergarten kiddos grandparent's a happy day!!!! We talked about family a lot and you were OFTEN mentioned!! FIRST WEEK FUN!!!

We had SO much fun in our first week together!! We read lots of great stories about school and even read some books about how special we are. It was hard learning all of our kindergarten expectations, but these kids are awesome!! They have worked so hard and been such great listeners. Rockstar Taylor!!

Better late than never!! Sorry Taylor....just getting this up here. Taylor was our last rockstar and we had SOOOO  much fun learning all about him!! He had a special lunch visitor and a special truck come visit the entire class!! We loved looking at it and even got coloring books!! His favorite color is orange and he loves the Avengers book. His favorite movie is "Home" and he likes playing soccer. His favorite animal is a snake and he LOVES eating chicken noodle soup. He loves singing "What does the fox say?" and when he grows up he wants to be a cop. If he could go anywhere it would be Wrestle Mania and he is special because he is smart. YOU ROCK TAYLOR!!!

Rockstar Nico!!

Nico was recently our rockstar and we learned SO much about her!! Her favorite color is pink and she loves the book "Ten Little Kittens." Her favorite movie is Frozen and she loves playing t-ball. She loves dogs and eating pizza...yummy!!! She loves "Let It Go" from Frozen!! When she grows up she wants to be a ballerina. She is special because she has a great family!! Rock Star Sophia!!

Sophia was our rockstar last week and we had a great time learning all about her!! She brought some cool toys and a book about animals to share!! She picked out a snake to share...yuck!!
Her favorite color is silver and she loves her book about animals!! Her favorite movie is Monster High and she loves swimming!! Lucky it is almost summer!!!! Her favorite animal is a hummingbird and she loves chocolate!! Her favorite song is "My Life Song" and when she grows up she wants to be an artist. If she could visit anywhere it would be Kansas City!! She is special because she has a twin sister, is creative, caring, artistic, and smart!! This week Eva celebrated her 6th birthday!! Twinkle came to visit...but we only saw his hat and he was missing!!! The next day he returned with the sign we made for Eva, some confetti, and a party hat!!! Eva even had her dad visit her for lunch!! LUCKY girl! We hope your day was awesome Eva!!!

Rock Star Nash!!!

Nash was our rock star last week and we ENJOYED getting to know him!!! He shared his favorite story with us and brought a cool truck for us to try out. His favorite color is red and he loves the story Llama, llama!! We also LOVED hearing the story!! He likes the movie Space Jam and loves football!! His favorite animal is a cheetah and he loves eating spaghetti. His favorite song is Peaches and when he grows up he wants to be a football player!! If he could go anywhere it would be Florida. Rockstar Mia!!

Mia was our rockstar last week and we LOVED learning all about her!! She brought a cool toy and Strawberry Shortcake book to share with us. Her favorite colors are pink and blue. The book she loves most is Green Eggs and Ham. Her favorite movie is Zootopia. Mia loves playing volleyball and her favorite animal is a gorilla. Her favorite food is mac & cheese and her favorite song is Let It Go!! When she grows up she wants to be a police officer. If she could go anywhere in the world, it would be Mexico! We are SPECIAL!!!

Today, April 2nd, we celebrate autism awareness. Yesterday at school we talked a lot about how we are all different, but we are all the same. No matter who you are, you ARE special. We each colored a puzzle piece for our school bulletin board. We also each drew a picture on a puzzle piece to celebrate why EACH of us is special. Rockstar Lucas!!

Lucas was recently our rockstar of week and we really enjoyed getting to know him!!! He brought his favorite book and his toy turtle to share with us...which we loved!! His favorite color is red and he loves the book "Skylander's Universe!!" He loves the movie Oscar and he loves playing soccer. He loves cheetah's and eating mac & cheese!!! His favorite song is Way Up the Tree. When he grows up he wants to be an astronaut and if he could go anywhere it would be Kansas!! He thinks it would be fun there!!! He is a special kid because he has a cool dog and can do cool tricks. You ROCK Lucas!!!!

Happy St. Pat's Day!!

Last week we wore green and had FUN celebrating St. Patrick's Day. We had a special visitor that played tricks on us!! He turned the toilet green, made a mess, and CHANGED our tables!! He also gave us gold, bracelets, and tattoos. He left us lots of notes and was SUPER kind to us!! We hope you enjoy our video!!

Outdoor Learning!!

Last week we got to go outside and enjoy the fresh air and sunshine for math!! We worked so hard on story problems and LOVED the outdoor time. Here are a few pictures of our fun!!

Rock Star Lainey

Lainey was our rock star and we learned SO much about her!!! She brought her favorite book to share with us AND showed us her toy soccer ball that she practices kicking!! She was so excited to share her pictures and all of her favorite things. Her favorite color is purple and her favorite movie is Frozen. She loves the Ringo 2 book. Her favorite sport is hockey and she loves penguins!! She loves eating watermelon and her favorite song is Shut Up and Dance with Me!! When she grows up she wants to be a teacher and if she could go anywhere in the world it would be to KINDERGARTEN...go Lainey!! She is a special kid because she has friends!! Rock Star Kamani!!

Kamani was recently our rockstar and we LOVED learning all about him!! He brought his favorite book "No Mail for Mitchell" to share with us and he shared his favorite toy...a cool transformer!!! He even had his mom swing by for lunch!! How special:) Kamani loves the color green and the movie Scooby Doo. His favorite sport is football and he loves bears!! If he could eat any food it would be a hot dog and he loves listening to the Hokey Pokey. When he grows up he wants to be a doctor and he would love to visit California. He is a special kid because he is SO smart!! You Rock Kamani!!!!

Rock Star Jillian!!!

Jillian was our rockstar a few weeks ago and we learned all about her!!! Her favorite color is red and the favorite book is "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie." The movie she likes best is Home Alone and her favorite sport is hockey. She loves monkey's and her favorite food is enchiladas. She LOVES singing "Let It Go" When she grows up she wants to be a vet and if she could go ANYWHERE it would be Disney World. She is a special kid because she helps take care of her dog Macy. We agree Jillian...you are a ROCKSTAR!!!!

Rockstar Jeremiah!!!

We are SO far behind on this...so sorry!!! My sick children have gotten me behind!

His favorite color is orange and he loves the book “101 Dalmations.”  He loves the show Paw Patrol and his favorite sport is basketball. The animal he loves most is a tiger and he loves eating chicken nuggets. He loves “The Fight Song.” When he grows up he wants to be a construction worker. He would love to go to the White House…super cool!! He is a special kid because he is smart!! We agree Jeremiah!!

Valentine's Day!!

We had such a great time celebrating Valentine's Day!!! We played lots of fun games with our friends in Mrs. Woita's room and even got to spend our money at the store!! After Library, we got to open our bags and we were so excited!! All of my friends asked all day long when they would open their bags. We had a banana snack and painted some awesome pictures for someone we love!! We hope you liked your gift and that you all had a great day!!

On another note, I will not be in school on Tuesday. We have been hit so hard with illness at my house this year. We are READY for warmer weather and less sickness:( Please remember that we have conferences next Tuesday and Thursday. If you haven't sent back your form, please do, so I can get you in the schedule!!

Happy 1/2 Birthday Caroline!!
