Rock Star Jackson!!

Jackson was our rockstar this week and we had a GREAT time learning about him!! He brought his favorite book to share...so friends at school would remember to be nice to each other. He also brought a pretty cool toy helicopter and flew it in the room!! We LOVED it!! On Thursday his mom, dad, and new baby brother Luca came to lunch. He had a great week!! His favorite color is blue and he loves the book "Llama, Llama, and the Bully Goat". His favorite movie is Home Alone 3 and he loves football. His favorite animal is a dinosaur and he loves to eat brats!! The song he loves is "Hard Working Man." When he grows up he wants to be a contraction worker. If he could go anywhere it would Lambeau Field...he LOVES the Packers. He says he'll cheer for the Broncos since they aren't in the Super Bowl:) He is special because he is a great big brother to Luca and McKenna!! You Rock Jackson!!! Enjoy our video!!

Rock Star Eva!!!

Eva was our rockstar this week and we loved learning all about her!! She shared her favorite Olaf book, her elf Jingle, and lots of pictures. Her mom also came and ate lunch with her and picked her up from school!! It was a special week!! Her favorite color is blue and her favorite book is "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie". Her favorite sport is running and her favorite animal is a fox. She loves eating watermelon and her favorite song is "Let It Go". When she grows up she wants to be a vet and if she could go anywhere it would be Great Wolf Lodge!! She is super special because she has a great family!! You Rock Eva!!

                 

Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Hello everyone!!

I hope you had a great weekend. On Friday we took a lot of time to discuss Dr. King and what he did for our country. We each thought of one thing we dreamed of for our country, made a colorful world with our hands, and made a freedom bell. I told the kids to remember why they weren't in school yesterday and to take the time to watch the video we made!! Before that...I want to leave you with a poem that you will hear the kids reciting...

Wouldn't It be terrible? Wouldn't it be sad. 

If just one single color, was the color that we had?

If everything was purple, or red, or blue, or green?

If yellow, pink, or orange, was all that could be seen?

Can you just imagine how dull the world would be?

Rock Star Eddie!!

Eddie was our rockstar this week and we LOVEd hearing all about him!! He had his dad come for lunch on Thursday...and he had so much fun!! He also brought a toy snake to share (Mrs. Schroeder had to scream....I do NOT like snakes!!) We also read his favorite book "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie". His favorite color is green and his favorite movie is Pitch Perfect. He loves playing baseball and his favorite animal is a cat. He loves eating chicken nuggets and his favorite song is "We Will Rock You". When he grows up he wants to be a police officer and if he could go anywhere it would be Steamboat Springs, Colorado. He is special because he is so smart!! You ROCK Eddie!!




                          

Rock Star Deena!!

Deena was our rockstar before we went to winter break and we enjoyed getting to know her better!! She brought a barbie and a teddy bear to share with us and her Frozen book!! The class loved hearing the story. Her favorite color is green and her favorite book is Frozen. Can you guess her favorite movie?!? Frozen!!! She loves swimming and her favorite animal is a fish. The food she loves to eat most is pineapple and her favorite song is "Let It Go!" When she grows up she wants to be a doctor and if she could go anywhere it would be Walmart. She is special because she is SUPER smart!! We would agree Deena!!
