Happy Birthday Jackson!!

Today we celebrated our FIRST birthday in our classroom!! We were all super excited because we even had a birthday elf named Twinkle visit!!! It took a while for us to see him. He has been visiting my classroom for the last couple of years to celebrate holidays and birthdays!! We read a book about Twinkle and learned that he is ALWAYS watching to make sure we are following Meadow Lane expectations. We also know we can NOT touch him or he will lose his magic!! The kindergarten friends all took turns telling words that described Jackson and they came up with some GREAT ones!! We said he was fun, funny, nice, a rock star, awesome, smart, and many more!! We put those words together and made a sign for him so he will always remember his birthday in kindergarten!! Twinkle even left him lots of confetti (it was messy!) and a birthday hat!! He is SUPER awesome. Thanks for the pencils and erasers Jackson...we LOVED them and we HOPE You have a fantastic night!! Here are some pictures of our day!!
