Rockstar Lennon!!

Lennon was our rockstar a while back and we loved getting to know him!! His favorite color is ...EVERY color and he loves the book Paw Patrol. His favorite movie is Bolt and he loves to play basketball. Lennon loves cats and he loves eating mac and cheese. His favorite song is the Nightmare Before Christmas and when he grows up he wants to be Batman!! If he could go anywhere it would be to Africa and he is special because he has a big family and can always make them laugh. He even shared his favorite book and toy with us. We think you rock Lennon!!!

100th Day!!

I keep forgetting to post this video!! We had so much fun celebrating 100 days of learning!! We made a picture with 100 squares, 100 day hats, 100 beads on a necklace, and dressed like we were 100!!! We also had some pretty amazing projects to share with our friends!! We are excited for many more days of learning together!!

Rockstar Kenna!!

Sorry I am just getting this posted!! I am only able to post from my home network and I kept forgetting!!

Kenna was our rockstar a couple weeks ago (vacation is getting me even further behind!) We had so much fun reading her cool Trolls book and looking at her Moana toy (my new favorite movie). Her mom also came to eat lunch with her (it was also mom’s birthday!!) Her favorite color is green and she loves the book Trolls, Get Back Up Again. Her favorite movies are Trolls and Moana and she LOVES to dance!! Her favorite animal is a cat…and a kitten. She loves eating candy and the song Hair Up from Trolls. When she grows up she wants to be a cheerleader or a teacher. If she could go anywhere it would be back to Disneyworld. She is a special kid because she has really awesome grandmas!! We think you ROCK Kenna!!!!!

Rockstar Kayden!!!

Kayden was our rockstar last week and we loved getting to know him!! He brought a hockey stick and puck to share and even gave everyone his hockey picture!! We LOVED it!!! He also brought his favorite book, “There Was an Old Mummy Who Swallowed a Spider. His dad came for lunch…which Kayden loved!!! He also shared some great pictures. I have to say I LOVED the Ghostbusters costumes…so cute!!! His favorite color is blue and he loves the movie “Ghosbusters!” He loves playing hockey and his favorite animal is a giraffe. Kayden loves eating Velveeta Shells Macaroni & Cheese. He loves the song “Ghost Town” by Adam Lambert and when he grows up he wants to be a team member of the Boston Bruins. He would love to go to Hawaii and he is a special kid because he nice to others, smart, funny, good at hockey, and because he loves his daddy. We think you rock Kayden!!!

Rockstar E!!!

Enoch was our rockstar and we loved learning all about him!! He brought in a toy dragon and his favorite book to share about the zoo!! We LOVED it!!! His favorite colors are green and white, and he loves the book "Put Me in The Zoo." His favorite movie is the Cat in the Hat and he loves playing golf. He has TWO favorite animals. A cat and a dog. He loves eating broccoli (this is the first food favorite I have ever had:)) He loves the song Watch Me and when he grows up he wants to be a SWAT team member. If he could go anywhere it would be Lost In Fun and he is a special kid because he loves cats and dogs. We think you rock E!!!!        

MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. DAY!!!!

Hello everyone!!

I hope you had a great weekend. On Friday we took a lot of time to discuss Dr. King and what he did for our country. We each thought of one thing we dreamed of for our country, made a colorful world with our hands, and made a freedom bell. I told the kids to remember why they weren't in school tomorrow and to take the time to watch the video we made!! Before that...I want to leave you with a poem that you will hear the kids reciting...

Wouldn't It be terrible? Wouldn't it be sad. 

If just one single color, was the color that we had?

If everything was purple, or red, or blue, or green?

If yellow, pink, or orange, was all that could be seen?

Rockstar Ellie

Ellie was our rockstar before break...we got so busy with our program that I forgot to post this:) We had so much fun learning all about Ellie and she even had her mom and brother visit for lunch..so cool!! She brought her favorite animal book and her favorite stuffed animal. Her favorite color is yellow and she loves the book "Jungle Animals". She loves the Trolls movie and gymnastics!!! Her favorite animal is a cat..a tabby cat to be specific:) She loves eating pizza and her favorite song is New York by Taylor Swift. When she grows up she wants to be a teacher (yay!!!). If she could go anywhere she'd choose Arizona (she was born there:)) She is special because she is a good friend and likes cats. We think you rock Ellie!! Enjoy our video!!!
