Rock Star Mya!!

Mya was our Rock Star this week and we had such a GREAT time!! We had LOTS of energy and I think we are ready to get some more outdoor days!! Mya’s favorite color is blue and her favorite book is The Cat in the Hat. Her favorite movie is also The Cat in the Hat. Her favorite sports are basketball and hockey. She LOVES to eat cake (so do I!) Her favorite animal is a cheetah and her favorite song is I Drive Your Truck. When she grows up she wants to be a basketball and hockey player. If she could go anywhere it would be Florida (nice and warm J) She is a special kid because she likes lots of baby animals and her family lovers her. We love having Mya in our class!! Shamrocks!!!

Hi!! Today a shamrock was sent home in your child's Wednesday folder! There was a note with directions with the shamrock, but I want to put the directions up here just in case:)

Please use this green shamrock to have your student share how LUCKY they are!! You can draw pictures on the shamrock and label why they are lucky. You could put real pictures on the shamrock to tell how they are lucky. If you don’t want to ruin real pictures you could just make copies of the pictures to glue on!! I also used glitter to decorate my shamrock!! It is up to you!! Please be as CREATIVE as you can!! Please bring the shamrocks back by Wednesday, March 5^th!! Please see my example below!!!

Rock Star Micah!!!

Micah was our rock star of the week this week and boy did we have FUN!! It may have been a short week, but it was SUPER busy and we all got SUPER smart!! Micah worked hard this week and enjoyed a yummy lunch with his mom and sister! His favorite color is blue and his favorite book is Ice Magic. He LOVES the movie The Nut Job. He has THREE favorite sports…football, basketball, and hockey. He loves to eat hamburgers and his favorite animal is a hyena. He loves the song Timber! When he grows up he either wants to be a football player, hockey player, baseball player, or a basketball player. If he could go anywhere in the world it would be Denver, Colorado. He is special kid because he is smart!! We have to agree that you are super smart Micah and we are so lucky to have you in our class. Enjoy the video of our fun week!!

We are late in celebrating this birthday! SO sorry Alayah...we were going to do it last Friday, but then Alayah went home sick :( We hope that you had a very special 6th birthday on February 17th!! We are lucky to have you in our class!!!

Rock Star Logan!!!

Logan was our rock star of the week this week and we had such a BUSY and fun week!! With parent teacher conferences and Valentine’s Day the week really did fly by!! Logan’s favorite color is black and his favorite book is Clark the Shark…the kids loved hearing this story!! His favorite toy is Batman and his favorite sport is football!! He LOVES to eat chicken and fries and his favorite animal is a lion. He likes the song “We Will Rock You”…it is a great song!! When he grows up he wants to be a firefighter and if he could go anywhere in the world it would be Disney World!! He is a special kid because he thinks super heroes rock and his mommy and daddy say he is super smart and enjoys learning at school. We all agree that Logan is a super special kid with a lot of energy and spunk!! You ROCK Logan!!!Enjoy our video!!

Important Dates!!

Hello everyone!! I hope you are enjoying your weekend!! The snow is just starting to fall and I am feeling nice and warm inside!!

We have been SUPER busy in kindergarten lately!! I can't wait to tell you about all of the wonderful things we are learning about at conferences!! Our parent-teacher conferences will be this Tuesday and Thursday. If you can not remember what time you are signed up for please give me a call or send me an e-mail. If you can't make the scheduled time please let me know and we will try to find a time that works for both of us!!

We will celebrate Valentine's Day on Friday. I sent home a note this past week in folders to explain what we will be doing. If you have any questions about this please don't hesitate to ask!

Rock Star Lily!!!

Lily was our Rock Star of the week this week!! She was SUPER excited and wore her Girl Scout vest a lot!! She even had 3 very special lunch dates!! Her mom and 2 brothers came to visit us at school!! Lily’s favorite color is….can you guess?? PINK!!! Her favorite book is Tooth Fairies Night. She loves the movie Despicable Me 2 and her favorite sport is softball. She loves to each chocolate….and so do a lot of our other friends!! She loves cats AND chipmunks and her favorite movie is Alvin in the Chipmunks! When she grows up she wants to be a cheerleader…I think she would be GREAT at this!!! If she could go anywhere in the world it would be Hawaii!! I would LOVE to be some place that warm!!! Lily is a special kid because she is in school and she is funny and smart!!! You Rock Lily!! We would all have to agree that you are SUPER smart and filled with silliness!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY SOPHIE!!

Today Sophie celebrated her 6th birthday!!!! She was so lucky to have her mom join her for lunch. We sang happy birthday to her and she got her fun birthday bag!!!She even brought us very pretty AND delicious cupcakes!! And...there is more!! She brought each friend a bag of treats!! We hope you enjoy Valentino's tonight!!!
